An open letter: From William Berman; developer, owner and future resident.

As Lloyd and I walked the property during the initial planning of Tyrolean Meadows, it was immediately clear what we would create; an exquisite world class community centered around family, friends and of course, Mt. Hood.
We aspired to fashion exceptional custom homes crafted from hands with generations of experience. Homes that will withstand the test of time and provide a gathering place for you and your family because that’s what matters most.In addition to knowing what we envision for Tyrolean Meadows, it’s important to know who Lloyd and I are and why we do what we do. The son of a master carpenter, Lloyd has spent his life in and around Mt. Hood. He is an artist, a carpenter, a father, and a husband and he chooses to call Govy his home. A builder by summer, a ski coach by winter Lloyd’s reputation is one of honesty and integrity, where business is still conducted with a handshake. His ability to create functional living art can only be described as remarkable, and something you must see to
believe. As for myself, my wife and I have raised two children on the slopes of Mt. Hood, spending as many days as we could manage at our home in Government Camp. Our ski trips and holiday gatherings have left Deb and I with an endless supply of heartfelt memories that I sincerely hope you can create in your new home. Between the people of Govy, the snow of Mt. Hood and seclusion of the wilderness I can imagine no better a place to escape to or raise a family.
With that said, it is also important to know why we do what we do. In the ten years I’ve worked with Lloyd, we have agreed above all else on one fundamental ideal, doing what we said we were going to do. As a result, we do the vast majority of work ourselves and our reputation is a testament of our excellent work and superior craftsmanship. The only person we hold accountable is ourselves. We choose craftsmanship over efficiency, vision over profit. We are building the neighborhood we want to be a part of.
I invite you to call me personally, tour Tyrolean Meadows, my home in Government Camp or drive by Tammarack Lodge. Ask around town and find out for yourself what it means to have a WilliamLloyd home.
I look forward to hearing from you.
